Summer: Day 32 (18th July)
What a day. Met up with Greg and got lost in town trying to find the pub The Flapper. We finally find out after almost being thrown in a canal and tickled until I fell over. Then when we went in for a drink we turned around to see the band at another table! We didn’t want to disturb them eating or anything so left it. The actual gig was really really good, very intimate and fun. Afterwards when I got home I found out I’d won the competition to be on the guest list and meet the band but it was too late!!!! FML. We’re going to see them in Wolverhampton this December so I’m hoping I’ll have more luck next time.
Summer: Day 48 (3rd August)
Today I went to meet David and Carys and we watched a circus show and it was HILARIOUS. Carys got chosen as a volunteer in front of all the little children. We sat in Starbucks and had a really nice conversation. Then I did the paperround which took 2 and a half hours! But to cheer me up I’m watching a Gabrielle Aplin live streaming woooooooo! Also discovered Orla Gartland today. Wow.
